Dan Lier is a keynote speaker, sales and peak-performance coach, and best-selling author, billed as America's Coach from his appearances on HSN.

At 6-foot-8 he won two national college basketball championships at Fort Hays State as a role player who still started. He sold insurance, read Tony Robbins, became the top producer at 23, and rose inside Robbins's organization to a field-leadership role. He launched his own speaking career from Las Vegas around 2000 and has delivered more than 3,500 presentations. Clients have included MetLife, Cybex, BD, and Oakwood. He hosts the television show Your True Potential. His books include The 10 Minute Coach (2010), Present Better Than Steve Jobs (2012), Is Your Child Wired for Success? (2014), and Men! 10 Secrets Every Woman Should Know From Two Guys That Do (2009), co-authored with Mike Lindstrom.

He was diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis, completed roughly two years of chemotherapy beginning around 2017, and is in year nine of a disease that kills about 40 percent of patients in the first year. He became an amyloidosis advocate, worked with Pfizer, and records nightly affirmation audio. He now works with Janek Performance Group.
