John Edward Moriarty, CPWA, ChFC, is co-founder and managing partner of e3 Wealth.
He was born and raised in St. Louis, graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University with a B.S.B.A. in finance in 1996, was named the top finance student, won the Wall Street Journal Award, and played college baseball. He entered wealth management in 1995, spending his first eight years supporting other advisors.
In 2003 he founded e3 ConsultantsGROUP — Education times Empowerment times Enlightenment — as a family-office-style network. A business coach introduced him to neuro-linguistic programming in 2005. He implemented Infinite Banking in his own policies in 2009 before recommending it to clients. He started e3 Tax in 2012 and co-founded e3 Wealth with Joe Quartucci in 2014. The firm now has about 60 people and more than $500 million in assets, with offices in St. Louis, Austin, Bastrop, Atlanta, and Scottsdale.
He hosts Mind Over Money, appears on the weekly Wealth Wins television segment in Austin and St. Louis, and has a standing slot on The Dave Glover Show. He lives in Webster Groves, Missouri, with his wife Ellen and their two children, Harrison and Catherine.
