Scott Pasmore

Scott Pasmore is the longtime anchor of Good Morning Arizona on KTVK-3TV (Arizona's Family) and one of the most recognizable faces in Valley television.

He was born July 28, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, and earned a B.A.S. in radio and television from Kansas State University in 1983. He still plugs the Wildcats on air.

He started at KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri (1983–1985), then KMIR in Palm Springs (1987–1988) and KOB in Albuquerque (1988–1989). In September 1989 he joined KTVK as a street reporter. He has anchored Good Morning Arizona since the mid-1990s, more than 35 years at one station. He won an Emmy for in-depth coverage of the 1992 Los Angeles riots and has covered the O.J. Simpson trial, the Oklahoma City bombing, and other national stories from a Phoenix desk.

He is a licensed private pilot. He has reported from the USS Harry S. Truman, flown an F-16 out of Luke Air Force Base, and flown with the Blue Angels in an F/A-18. He once rode a bull live on Good Morning Arizona, tore his bicep, and needed surgery. He builds and remodels homes, including a roughly 6,000-square-foot Scottsdale house that sold in June 2020 for about $2.7 million. He is married to Lauri Lane Pasmore; they have two daughters and a dog named Rhett.
