Emmy-Winning Anchor, Arizona's Family

Yetta Gibson is a weeknight anchor at Arizona's Family (3TV / CBS 5) and host of Arizona's Family Original with Yetta Gibson, a half-hour interview show that launched in 2023.

She is from Southwest Atlanta, graduated from D.M. Therrell High School, and earned a B.A. in journalism from Georgia State University. She interned at V103-FM in 1994, reported radio news from CNN Center, and contributed to the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show. After KISS 104.7 and about two years anchoring at the NBC affiliate in Albany, Georgia, she moved to Phoenix as an entertainment reporter and anchor at FOX 10, then to ABC15, where she helped launch The Now Arizona. She joined Arizona's Family in 2017. Her résumé runs through NBC, CBS, FOX, and ABC.

In 2012 she publicly documented losing 100 pounds through a raw vegan diet, walking, and juicing. She is married to A.J. Sulka, is a mother of daughters, and lives in the Phoenix metro area.
