Founder & CEO, Inspired Media 360

Carey Pena is an Emmy-winning journalist and founder and CEO of Inspired Media 360, a Phoenix production company with two studios. She also co-founded The Center for Positive Media with Andrea Tyler Evans in the Coronado Historic District.

She put herself through Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, working news and sports on Newswatch as a senior, and interned at KTVK in 1998. She spent 16 years at the station, moving from features writer to investigative reporter on the 3 on Your Side consumer unit, weekend anchor of Good Evening Arizona, then prime-time anchor and host of Politics Unplugged. She left in November 2014 after a contract impasse.

Inspired Media 360 produces video, podcasts, virtual and live events, media coaching, and emcee work. She hosted Carey Pena Reports past 100 episodes and has been involved with the Blank Canvas documentary on art therapy in Arizona prisons. She describes herself as a part-time Londoner.
