Tom Slocum is founder and CEO of The SD Lab, a Phoenix boutique outbound consultancy for B2B software and technology sales teams.
He started in automotive sales, then cold-called at Discover Card around 2007. He later sold in education at Argosy University and booked revenue at Yelp, GoDaddy, and Infusionsoft (now Keap). Around 2017 he scaled Reputation.com's SDR team from 3 to 30. He led outbound at Milestone Internet and, as vice president of sales at Trainyo, took the company from zero to $1 million in pipeline in five months.
He founded The SD Lab in September 2022. The firm serves clients in the United States and Canada and offers the Outbound Accelerator, an 8-to-12-week coaching program, and Outbound Labs, a done-for-you SDR operation. It has claimed more than $3 million in pipeline generated and 40-plus teams trained. Clients have included Kustomer, ServiceChannel, and Distran. He brands himself as Your Future Homie in Law.
