Julie Werner Xander is the creator of Lifestyle Jules, a Scottsdale lifestyle brand, host of Lifestyle Jules on Star Worldwide Networks, a realtor at Russ Lyon Sotheby's, and founder of Jules Dating Group and Work Out with Lifestyle Jules.

She was born and raised in Scottsdale. Her grandmother started an all-women's department store in New York; her grandfather was the largest dress buyer in the city. She earned a degree in exercise physiology, taught group fitness and ballet barre, choreographed, and styled at Neiman Marcus. Around 2018 she built Lifestyle Jules as a live-video platform introducing local fitness, fashion, beauty, and wellness businesses to an audience of adults 35 to 55.

Modern Luxury Scottsdale named her one of Scottsdale's 20 Most Influential. Arizona Foothills Magazine named her Most Fashionable in 2022. The Lifestyle Jules show had more than 287 episodes as of late 2025. She is a mother of three and four dogs.

Dominic Gerald "Nick" Lowery is a former NFL placekicker, primarily with the Kansas City Chiefs, and a leadership speaker. At retirement he ranked among the most accurate kickers in league history.

Lowery was born May 27, 1956, in Munich, West Germany, to American parents and grew up in the Washington, D.C. area. He attended St. Albans School, then kicked for Dartmouth College from 1975 to 1977. He converted 22 of 37 field goals and all 51 extra-point attempts, earned two All-Ivy League selections, and as a junior in 1976 made all eight of his field goals, including a 51-yarder against Harvard.

After college, eight NFL teams cut or rejected him 11 times. While he waited he worked as a legislative aide on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, focusing on aviation deregulation and safety — one of the few non-attorneys in that role. The Chiefs signed him in 1980 while he was still on Capitol Hill.

He played 18 seasons and 260 games with the New England Patriots (1978), Chiefs (1980–1993), and New York Jets (1994–1996). Pamela Hughes is a coach and former award-winning broadcast journalist.

Originally from Pittsburgh, she moved to Phoenix in 1996, studied broadcast journalism at Arizona State University, and interned at KTAR News 92.3. She spent nearly 20 years at the station as a reporter, editor, anchor, managing editor, five-time interim news director, and co-host of the Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes Show. She taught at the Cronkite School and had an early radio stint in Wisconsin. The newsroom collected 20 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, one national Murrow, and 13 Associated Press awards during her tenure.

Covering the October 1, 2017, Route 91 Harvest shooting in Las Vegas, and subsequent mass-casualty stories, took a cumulative toll that surfaced as a panic attack in a Walmart. On February 14, 2020, she left broadcasting to coach full time. She is married to Kris; they have a daughter, Riley.

Johnjay Van Es is co-host of The Johnjay and Rich Show, a nationally syndicated morning program on iHeartMedia and Premiere Networks, based at 104.7 KISS-FM in Phoenix.

He was born September 4, 1968, in Los Angeles. He interned at 91X San Diego in 1990, trained with The Groundlings in the mid-1990s — where he met his wife Blake — and landed his first hosting job at WKRQ in Cincinnati in 1996, winning Best of Cincinnati within three months. After a stretch in country radio in Houston, he partnered with Rich Berra after a chance meeting in New Orleans. The show launched at KRQQ in Tucson in 2001, moved to Phoenix in 2006, joined Premiere in 2014, and received a five-year extension in 2025.

The program airs weekdays from 5 to 10 a.m. Mountain Time, is syndicated to nearly 20 stations, and has more than 75 million podcast downloads. It has ranked number one among women 25–54 and persons 25–54 in multiple markets and won the 2025 Kidd Kraddick Award at Morning Show Boot Camp. In 2015 Van Es started the LovePup dog-rescue campaign; in 2021 he opened a purpose-built Scottsdale shelter with 14 kennels. He also hosts The Johnjay Van Es Podcast. Kaley O'Kelley is a six-time Emmy-winning journalist and morning news co-anchor at ABC15 Arizona.

She is from East Wenatchee, Washington. She earned a B.A. in telecommunications with a business emphasis from Pepperdine University in 1999 and completed Mississippi State's broadcast meteorology program. At 17 she hosted a public-access talk show, Youth Beat, in Los Angeles. After college she produced, reported, and forecast weather at KYMA in Yuma, winning an Associated Press investigative award, then reported at KEYT in Santa Barbara and XETV in San Diego.

She joined ABC15 from 2003 to 2009 as co-host of Sonoran Living Live and weather forecaster, filled in on Good Morning America Weekend, and co-hosted The Emmitt Zone with Emmitt Smith. She anchored at 3TV from 2009 to 2015, when Phoenix voters named her Best News Personality in 2013 and 2014. From 2015 to 2018 she was evening news anchor at CBS 11 in Dallas–Fort Worth and a guest co-host of The Talk. She returned to ABC15 as morning co-anchor in August 2018. She is a member of the Native American Journalists Association, the American Meteorological Society, and the National Weather Association, and has built businesses in streaming and digital media alongside the news desk.

Dana Armstrong is co-owner of The Dirty Drummer, a Phoenix bar and live-music room at 44th Street and Oak.

Her father, Frank "Drummer" Armstrong, and Dirty Dave Werner opened the first Dirty Drummer in 1975 and put five of 14 locations on the map in the first five years, including the 44th Street room in 1980. After the chain faded, Armstrong and partners Tom Bernard and Andrew Smith reopened that location in 2019.

The room is now a live-music staple, home to Tiny Tonk Tuesdays, the Rooster Club, and Valley Vinyl Club. During the pandemic they created The August Manley Hour, a streamed variety show. Armstrong also ran Valley Fever, a long-running country night that began at Yucca Tap Room. Phoenix New Times named the Dirty Drummer Best Bar Food in 2025.
